Cure For Common Wart

The problem with warts (a tiny rough unsightly tumor) is they can grow almost anywhere on the body including inside the mouth and genitals but are most usually seen on the hands and feet. Some people are more likely to get warts than others in an these instances they can even catch them form using the towel of someone who has them but any skin contact could mean they will be passed on.

Even though genital warts are like most other warts, do not cause any pain (except warts on the areas of the foot where you apply pressure when walking) but are nonetheless highly contagious and can be contracted during any type of sexual act. Warts are rarely seen on children under the age of three, but after this age they become more frequent and in women, warts can grow on the cervix (inside the vagina), and a woman may not know she has them.

Broken areas of skin are more susceptible to warts as the virus has easy access and they can spread when picked at by children although they do not generally cause any problems other than how they appear to others so it isn’t always necessary to get rid of them. Treatment of warts is generally carried out owing to the adverse cosmetic affect they have but it isn’t a bad idea if they become a persistent problem. Whilst it is quite normal to buy ointments for example over the counter, the doctor can actually freeze warts with liquid nitrogen but this remedy does require more than one treatment.

Cure For Common Wart...

Most people are aware of the common wart but many different strains exist. The common wart is just one of over one hundred which are known each with very specific target areas especially those highly contagious forms found around the male and female sex organs and the anus.

The most frequently seen wart is that on the ends of fingers, often the result of a person biting their nails which can leave the skin tender but not everyone has the same problems with warts but why some people are more prone to getting them than others remains a mystery. Those small cauliflower-like papules seen on people’s fingers, especially around the cuticle area are the common wart and these usually appear to have small dark specks in them which are blood vessels.

The small flat skin colored papules are in fact flat warts and are more likely to be seen on the face legs and arms sometimes in very large groups which may contain hundreds of them. Anal and genital warts are much more serious not just because they are highly infectious but they are in particularly sensitive areas of the body and can be found internally, even inside the urethra.

It is quite common for warts to disappear on their own although it cab take years for this to happen or as short as a few months, but some warts are stubborn and require additional treatment. Treatments available to remove warts and verrucas are generally easily obtained from a drugstore and contain salicylic acid which is very good but the cleaning regime during the treatment is very specific and must be followed.
