Foot Calouses Planter Wart
A wart is generally a small, rough tumor, typically on hands and feet, that can resemble a cauliflower or a solid blister; they can grow on all parts of your body including on your skin, on the inside of your mouth, on your genitals and on your rectal area. The common wart which is more than likely those found on someone’s fingers or hands are still contagious if they are touched but it is not uncommon for someone to contract warts from using the towel of someone who has the condition.
The most contagious of all warts are genital warts which are caught from another person who has them during sex, even orally, who may not even know they have them but all warts except for those on the soles of the feet do not cause pain. Warts are rarely seen on children under the age of three, but after this age they become more frequent and in women, warts can grow on the cervix (inside the vagina), and a woman may not know she has them.
There isn’t normally any reason to have warts removed as they don’t prove normally to be a problem but if they are the result of an incision then they can start spreading especially if picked at. A common reason for eradicating warts is to stop further spread but even when this is achieved, they can return at any time and for some people they can become a persistent nuisance. A doctor can also freeze warts and verrucas away with liquid nitrogen but often several freezing treatments will be necessary before the warts are totally removed.

Most people are aware of the common wart but many different strains exist. There are in fact in excess of one hundred different types of warts in the human papillomavirus family; each is specific to an area or the body.
The most frequently seen wart is that on the ends of fingers, often the result of a person biting their nails which can leave the skin tender but not everyone has the same problems with warts but why some people are more prone to getting them than others remains a mystery. It is the warts on fingers that are common warts with their cauliflower appearance often with little black specks that are in fact small blood vessels where the blood has clotted.
Flat warts are small, slightly elevated, flat-topped, pink or tan papules and are smoother than the common wart but they occur primarily on the face, arms, and legs, and a person can have several, even hundreds of them. Ano-genital warts are flesh to gray in color, grow in mucous membranes, and vary in size from small, shiny papules, to large cauliflower like lesions and can extend internally into the vagina and cervix, the rectal area, and inside the urethra.
Some warts may last many years and then just vanish whilst others will require intervention from a topical ointment or by the doctor. Ointments containing salicylic acid are the most popular forms of wart and verruca removal but the instructions must be followed to the letter if the treatment is t be successful.
