Plantar Wart Removal With Apple Cider Vinegar

Most people at some time or another will suffer with a small circular tumor on the surface of their skin commonly known as a wart and whilst it will probably be on either their hands or feet, they can be found on any part of the skins surface. Contact with the skin of someone who has warts may be enough to catch them if you are more susceptible to warts but they can still be passed on through the contact of a towel of someone who is suffering with warts.

Even though genital warts are like most other warts, do not cause any pain (except warts on the areas of the foot where you apply pressure when walking) but are nonetheless highly contagious and can be contracted during any type of sexual act. Strangely, warts only seem to affect people after the age of three and women can actually have them inside the vagina and be completely unaware they are there.

A tiny cut or scratch can make any area of skin more vulnerable to warts and, if a child picks at a wart, it can spread to other parts of the body but warts don’t generally cause any problems, so it’s not always necessary to have them removed, unless you have concerns. A common reason for eradicating warts is to stop further spread but even when this is achieved, they can return at any time and for some people they can become a persistent nuisance. Whilst it is quite normal to buy ointments for example over the counter, the doctor can actually freeze warts with liquid nitrogen but this remedy does require more than one treatment.

Most people are aware of the common wart but many different strains exist. The 100 hundred different type of wart in the human papillomavirus group are quite focused in the areas they attack including those that are found in the genitalia.

It is still unknown why some people are more susceptible to warts than others and some are so sensitive they can even get them from biting their finger nails which spread to the fingertips. It is the warts on fingers that are common warts with their cauliflower appearance often with little black specks that are in fact small blood vessels where the blood has clotted.

The flat wart is much smoother than a common wart and may be tan colored with a smoother surface; these tend to congregate on the legs, arms or face and in more sever cases the person may have hundreds. Warts that affect the genitals and anus vary in size and shape, some looking like large common warts to others that are small and shiny; they can even be found inside the urethra, vagina and anus.

Often warts disappear on their own, although it may take many months, or even years, for the warts to go away but some warts won’t go away on their own and this is where over-the-counter options are useful. The most common type of treatment involves salicylic acid which is readily available at drugstores and supermarkets but remember that removing a wart with salicylic acid requires a strict regimen of cleaning the area, applying the acid, and removing the dead skin with a pumice stone or emery board.
