The problem with warts (a tiny rough unsightly tumor) is they can grow almost anywhere on the body including inside the mouth and genitals but are most usually seen on the hands and feet. Warts that affect the genitals and anus vary in size and shape, some looking like large common warts to others that are small and shiny; they can even be found inside the urethra, vagina and anus.

It is not known why but often warts will vanish on their own but in some cases this can take years, others however, require a little help as they are persistent and show no signs of disappearing. Most people that want to rid themselves of warts or verrucas will by an ointment with salicylic acid as the active ingredient which is generally very successful at getting rid of them but it is important to follow the enclosed instructions to the letter as a strict program of cleaning is necessary.
